ECS addition nixed by vote

Epsom voters rejected a $6.78 million bond for an addition and renovations to Epsom Central School by a vote of 517 to 430.

School bond fails, police station OK’d

After a valiant effort by the Allenstown School Board and school building committee, a $3.4 million bond for improvements to the district’s two schools failed by seven votes.

Hooksett voters were in a negative mood on Election Day, shooting down the school district’s operating budget, the use of leftover money from a bond to repair school buildings, a petition to move the annual School District Meeting date, as well as a petition to have the budget committee determine a default budget.
